The Braywood opened in November 2024, emerging from the former site of the highly regarded Royal Oak in Paley Street.
The vision was clear – to create a fresh and contemporary new restaurant that pays homage to its setting and creates a warm and welcoming dining experience for you, your friends and family, and work colleagues to enjoy together.

SAM BRENNAN
Head Chef Sam grew up in a foodie family in Wokingham. His career has spanned Petrus, L'Ortolan, The Bell at Ramsbury, The Clockspire and The Woodspeen.

JACOPO MARONI
Knowledgeable Head Sommelier Jacopo Maroni has developed his nose for wine in a number of high profile restaurants in the UK and Italy.

Massi Mannella oversees The Braywood with experience gained in London's top restaurants and the award-winning The Clockspire in the Westcountry.
